01 Why did I see a disclaimer on the campaign page that said: “Rewards are not guaranteed”?
If you're new to Kickstarter, a crowdfunding platform, please rest assured that the Motion Rivalry team guarantees 100% delivery for every purchased reward. We will keep you posted on the delivery schedule.
02 I placed a $5 Early Access deposit before launch. What happens now?
Two things. We'll refund your $5 deposit after the campaign, whether or not you pledge. And if you do pledge, you get $25 back, refunded through Kickstarter after the campaign closes — bringing your effective price to $334. If you did not place a deposit, the Early Bird tier is the best price available.
03 My Kickstarter email does not match my reservation email. What should I do?
Your Kickstarter account email should exactly match the email used for your Early Access reservation. This helps us verify your deposit holder benefits, including the deposit refund and the additional $25 post-campaign refund. If the emails do not match, please send us a direct message on Kickstarter with your Kickstarter account email and your reservation email, and our team will help verify your status.

05 How can I modify my pledge?
While a project is live, you can adjust your pledge by visiting the project page and clicking the "Manage Your Pledge" button. On the following page, select "Change Your Pledge," and you can modify the details. For more information, check out the article by Kickstarter:

06 What payment methods do you accept?
Since our campaign is now live on Kickstarter, the payment options available will be in accordance with their platform offerings. 07 It's my first time pledging on Kickstarter. Can you help me confirm if my pledge is successful?
After you've backed our project, you'll receive a confirmation email from Kickstarter. In addition, you'll receive an inbox message to double-confirm your successful backing. Please note that you'll not be charged or asked to provide any of your personal information until our campaign ends. 08 When does my card get charged? Can I cancel the pledge?
Your card will be charged when the campaign ends successfully.
You can cancel or change your pledge at any time before the campaign ends. Once the campaign has ended and pledges have been collected, cancellations and changes may be limited as we begin preparing production and fulfillment.

01 How do I provide my shipping address and reward details?
We will send you a survey to collect the necessary information we need to fulfill rewards after our project ends. Additionally, we will post an update with further instructions before the campaign concludes. Once you complete the survey, you'll receive an email confirmation with a copy of your responses. 02 How do shipping and taxes work?
We offer free standard shipping to more than 70 eligible countries and regions listed in the Shipping section of this page. Please note that customs duties, VAT, and local import taxes are not included and remain the responsibility of the backer. Delivery availability may also vary for remote areas.

03 Can I change my shipping address after I submit the survey?
We will enable the address-changing option in the survey so that you can update your shipping address anytime before the survey is closed. You will not be able to change your shipping address after we close the survey, so we can finalize the shipping plan

Warranty & Support
01 Is Motion Rivalry covered by a warranty?
For REACH rewards purchased through this Kickstarter campaign, we provide a 1-year warranty. If your REACH is damaged due to a non-human-caused issue during the warranty period, we will provide a replacement unit. Please note that this warranty applies specifically to REACH units purchased through this Kickstarter campaign. We offer replacement only and do not provide repair services.

Sports & Use Cases
01 What kind of sports does REACH support?
REACH supports cycling, rowing, kayaking,paddleboard, canoeing, sailing, paragliding, hang gliding, and more. Its modular design allows it to adapt to different sports through dedicated modules, mounts, and external sensors.
02 Can REACH be used for stand-up paddleboarding?
Yes. REACH can record GPS and motion data for stand-up paddleboarding. Dedicated SUP metrics and mounting options are still being optimized.
03 Can REACH be used with an outrigger canoe or paddle erg?
Yes. REACH can be attached directly to an outrigger canoe using an adhesive mount, straps, or a suction-cup mount. We also plan to support compatible paddle ergs as external sensors for displaying and recording indoor training data.
04 Can REACH be used for sailing?
Yes. REACH can provide sailing data including boat tilt angle, heading, speed, GPS position, route tracking, and anemometer readings. We are also exploring a future satellite communication module for extended offshore use.
05 Can REACH be used for hang gliding?
Yes. Although Paragliding Mode is primarily designed for paragliding, its core flight metrics are also applicable to hang gliding, including altitude, ground speed, vertical speed, heading, track, navigation, and route recording.
06 Can REACH be used for skydiving?
REACH can record relevant GPS and motion data through Paragliding Mode, including AGL, vertical speed, ground speed, heading, and track. However, it is not intended to replace certified skydiving instruments or other safety-critical equipment.
07 Can REACH work as a racing transponder?
REACH is not a direct replacement for closed systems such as MYLAPS or Westhold. However, its 10 Hz GPS supports independent lap timing with precision of up to 0.02 seconds under suitable conditions, without requiring trackside hardware or recurring subscription fees.

Sensors, Connectivity & Data
01 Does REACH support Strava?
Yes. REACH supports activity syncing with Strava, making it easy to upload and review your training data
02 How does REACH measure cadence without a crank sensor?
REACH uses its built-in motion sensors to detect the periodic acceleration and vibration generated while pedaling. It then analyzes and filters the data to estimate cadence in RPM. For greater accuracy, REACH also supports compatible external cadence sensors.
03 What external sensors and devices can connect to REACH?
REACH supports BLE and ANT+ connectivity. It can connect to compatible external sensors and devices, including Giant e-bikes using the RideControl+ protocol. Integrations with Favero Assioma, Garmin Varia, Gaggle, and other devices are being tested, with confirmed functions to be listed in our compatibility guide.
04 Can REACH help measure CdA using the camera and anemometer?
The camera and anemometer can provide useful visual and environmental data for aerodynamic analysis. Reliable CdA calculation also requires inputs such as speed, power, wind, gradient, and riding conditions. We are evaluating how these inputs could be combined into a dedicated feature.
05 Does REACH support ADS-B Out?
ADS-B Out is not currently supported. We may consider offering compatibility through an optional dedicated module in the future.

Hardware, Mounting & Camera
01 What mounting systems does REACH support?
REACH is compatible with standard Garmin-style quarter-turn mounts. Its modular mounting interface also supports rowing rail mounts, straps, adhesive mounts, suction-cup mounts, and paragliding flight decks. A dedicated GoPro-style adapter is being evaluated.
02 How long can the camera record continuously?
There is no fixed recording-time limit because total recording time mainly depends on the SD card capacity. A single recording session supports at least 2–3 hours of continuous video.
03 How thick is REACH?
REACH is approximately 17 mm thick.
